Mitten Ornament ~ Christmas ~ OPEN EDITION

This ornament was inspired by my childhood memories of bundling up and putting my mittens on before going outside to build snowmen, sled and have snowball fights. The mitten is stained and then washes of metallic silver paint is applied. The finishing touch is a dusting of vintage mica at the tip of the mitten. Some vintage late 1800's to early 1900's silver and blue cording is used as the hanger. $ 45.00 Approximately 3 hand-cut and carved pieces of wood were used in creating this work of art. |
