My hope was to create some toys that would reflect the spirit and soul of Christmas' past while adding the element of Tramp Art. This ark is all handmade using approximately 118 pieces of hand cut and carved pieces of wood. The roof is hinged with linen and when you lift open the roof/lid there is a vintage Dresden Star behind a Victorian embossed paper Dove scrap. The wheels are hand-cast lead much like the ones used originally in the 1800's. |
