Close your eyes and you just might see the Divine Ms. M emerging from this large clam shell. $ 750.00 (SOLD) This piece is made from a cigar box and layers of hand cut and chip carved wood. The focal point is a large Victorian Shell Art Pin-cushion. I have incorporated the shell art into the piece in much the same way it was done in the Victorian era. The interior has a hand-dyed and aged velvet covered panel at the bottom and a vintage "High Sea" cigar box label on the lid. Approximately 58 pieces of hand cut and carved wood were used to make this one-of-a-kind work of art. |
