Hands To Work, Hearts To God

Made from a cigar box and an antique sewing box with a drawer and a "lazy susan" spool holder, this piece has a heart motif. At the top there is a label that has the text "Hands to work..." and the phrase is completed with the chip-carved type that wraps around the bottom box, "Hearts to God". The lid on the bottom box lifts off to reveal an area for more storage. There is an antique sewing thimble inside the drawer. $ 650.00 (Sold) Approximately 55 hand-cut and carved pieces of wood were used in creating this one-of-a-kind work of art. |
