Made from a cigar box, this piece has a geometric motif that incorporates an antique pin cushion, wooden spools of thread and an antique tailor's tape measure. The lid lifts off to reveal an interior that is painted and the bottom is lined with part of an antique crazy quilt square. The interior of the lid has a reproduction trade card from my collection. $ 375.00 (Sold) Approximately 50 hand-cut and carved pieces of wood were used in creating this one-of-a-kind work of art. |
